Green Juice

Today is Green Juice Day, so I wanted to share a recipe.  I prefer to blend but you can also juice all of the ingredients together, or juice the vegetables and blend the fruit. 

Green juice is a good way to get in a large dose of phytonutrients and increase the number of vegetables you consume in a day.



Ka-Pow Juice

2 cups Organic Spinach
1 large organic cucumber
1 lime, peeled
1 cup pineapple, chopped
1 inch-piece fresh ginger

Pass all the ingredients through a juicer. You can also skip the ginger and blend the pineapple in stead of juicing it.
